WatchMaxTV Ltd (“WatchMaxTV”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information in accordance with Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

What we collect
When you sign up, purchase a subscription or contact support we may collect your name, email address, billing province or postal code, payment reference and communications history. When you use our services we automatically receive technical information such as IP address, device type, approximate region, referring URL and interactions with our website.
Why we collect it
We use personal information to provide the service you requested, process payments, detect fraud, meet legal obligations, improve the platform and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell personal information.
Consent and withdrawal
Quebec residents give express opt-in consent before any non-essential cookie or marketing collection. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting the Privacy Officer; withdrawing may affect our ability to deliver the service.
Sharing and international transfers
We share information only with vetted service providers (payment, hosting, email, analytics) bound by confidentiality agreements, and with authorities where required by law. Some providers may process data outside Canada; in those cases we apply contractual safeguards and, for Quebec residents, carry out privacy impact assessments in line with Law 25.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described, to comply with Canadian tax and accounting rules (minimum six years) or to defend against legal claims. Once retention ends, information is anonymized or securely destroyed.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, portability (Quebec) or deletion of your personal information. We respond within 30 days. If we refuse, we will tell you why and how to escalate to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, for Quebec residents, the Commission d’accès à l’information.
Security
We use TLS encryption, hardened hosting, access controls and staff training. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we notify affected users and regulators in the event of a confidentiality incident that creates a risk of serious injury.
Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date.
