Required content of a notice
To be actionable, a notice must include: (1) an electronic or physical signature of the rights-holder or authorized agent; (2) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (3) the URL or specific location where the allegedly infringing material appears on watchmaxtv.net; (4) your contact information; (5) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act.
Our response
On receipt of a compliant notice we will remove or disable access to the identified material, notify the account holder where applicable, and maintain a record of repeat infringers for account termination.
Counter-notices
If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to legal@watchmaxtv.net including: identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury of good-faith belief of mistake, your consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal Court of Canada, and your contact details.
Canadian Notice-and-Notice
For rights-holders operating under the Canadian Copyright Act, we forward conforming notices to the relevant account holder and retain records as required by sections 41.25 to 41.27. Fees for abusive or non-conforming notices are set to zero (statutory default).
False claims
Knowingly submitting a false notice may expose you to damages under section 512(f) of the U.S. DMCA and Canadian law.
